A citation building is basically putting your address all over the internet in hundreds of places to make your business known. The key component to this is to make sure you type your company name, address and phone number all in the exact same format in each place. For instance, if you type Ave. the first time, don't try to put it as Avenue the next time. Or (909) vs. 909-. The search engines love this and will feed you more juice which will rank you higher to the top. So, if you move, it's probably a good idea to hire someone to go in and change all of your citations at the same time to keep from losing current rankings. |
